The FTP Client Engine for Visual FoxPro (FCE4FP) is a library of functions providing direct and simple control of the FTP protocol. FCE4FP can be used with any application capable of calling the Windows API. With the library you can connect to any anonymous or private FTP server, get list of files, navigate the server directories, specify ASCII or binary transfer mode. When specifying downloads you would be able to use wildcard naming.
Uploading of files also can use wildcard support. Delete and renaming files are possible too. Manipulating directories have features that let you create, delete, rename directories easily. The library will help you support the passive mode which is required for firewalls. Supporting multiple FTP sessions and resume functions are also available as are appending file functions. You can change the names of files when up/downloading of files. Password encryption is supported. The package includes many sample Visual FoxPro programs. FCE4FP can be used in the development of Visual FoxPro applications running under Windows 95/98/Me/XP/2003/Vista/x64, and Windows NT/2000. FTP servers can be on a corporate intranet or anywhere in the Internet.
